Christian Pulisic claims he is uncertain about his Chelsea future
Christian Pulisic has not ruled out leaving Chelsea during the summer transfer window despite the fact that the Blues are pondering selling him.
The American attacker had a difficult season, starting just 10 games for the West Londoners and scoring just one goal.
The Blues are considering selling as a number of European clubs are interested in purchasing the former Borussia Dortmund forward. Juventus are said to be a potential destination as well.
It is unclear if Mauricio Pochettino wants the 24-year-old to stay at the club, given that he will be Chelsea’s next permanent manager.
Additionally, with the signings of Mykhaylo Mudryk and Noni Madueke, he may see his playing time decrease. During a recent interview, (h/t Metro) Pulisic opened up about his future and claimed:
‘’Obviously, it’s been an interesting journey at club level for me. I thought it was a great couple years, and the last couple years just haven’t gone at all how I’ve planned them to be. It’s obviously very early. As of right now, I’m a Chelsea player, and I plan to go back. But a lot of things can happen. A lot of things can change.’’
We don’t know if Chelsea plan on keeping him next season, but if the right offer arrives but you just get a feeling that the Blues could listen to a tempting offer. After all, they could lose him on a free transfer in a year’s time if he doesn’t pen fresh terms.
We already have enough players playing in his position, with the likes of Mudryk, Madueke, and Raheem Sterling. It also appears Pulisic has lost his confidence given he played very few games this season, but he can also regain it at Chelsea or another club; it depends on him and the club’s decision on his future.

He showed a lot of promise when we signed him from Borussia Dortmund. But things just haven’t clicked for him in terms of consistency. Perhaps he needs a manager who trusts in him even if he loses his way every now and then.
