Juventus are leading the race to sign Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic
Despite interest from other clubs, Juventus are the front-runners in the hunt to sign Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Blues have valued the USMNT star at £20 million and are ready to cahs in on him. Additionally, Chelsea’s plan to sell the American star will not change despite the hiring of Mauricio Pochettino.
At Stamford Bridge, the 24-year-old has had a very underwhelming season, scoring only one goal in 24 Premier League outings. The West Londoners paid £58 million to Borussia Dortmund to sign the forward who has just one year left on his contract.
According to ESPN, the 24-year-old is on the club’s list of probable departures as the club seeks to trim its bloated roster and lower the payroll.
The forward’s availability on the transfer market is known to Manchester United, Newcastle, Napoli, AC Milan, and Galatasaray. There is no lack of suitors come the summer.
However, despite not being willing to match his asking price, the Old Lady has been mentioned as a prospective destination for the American international. After falling to Milan 1-0, the Serie A powerhouses will not compete in the Champions League for the upcoming season.
The transfer of Pulisic from Dortmund hasn’t paid off for us as he hasn’t been a reliable performer for Chelsea. It will be a sensible move for him to start over at a new club where he may get more playing time and less competition for his desired position.
It is apparent that a move to another club will be more rational than wasting his potential career at Chelsea, who are also ready to part ways with him, given that the Blues already have Raheem Sterling and Mykhaylo Mudryk playing in his area and that they had been picked by the previous manager over the former Dortmund player.
