Thomas Tuchel urges media to not raise any questions related to his Chelsea stint

Thomas Tuchel has pleaded with the media not to inquire about Chelsea since he is now the manager of Bayern Munich.

Chelsea fired the German earlier this season, and Graham Potter was subsequently appointed. It did, however, never work out for Potter at Chelsea, as the team saw 11 victories in 31 games while he was in charge, ending his seven-month tenure at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have now named the former midfielder as temporary manager for the conclusion of the current campaign as they continue to look for the best candidate to replace Potter.

Tuchel asks reporters to refrain from asking questions related to Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Lampard’s second tenure began with a 1-0 loss to Wolves, and they now play Real Madrid in the eighth round of the Champions League.

When asked about his opinions on Lampard’s return to Chelsea Bridge during the pre-game news conference, (h/t Football.London) Tuchel, the newly hired Bayern Munich manager, responded as follows:

“No. No more Chelsea I am wearing a different shirt, and I will not comment.”

If they defeat their respective opponents in both legs, Chelsea and Bayern Munich might play each other in the Champions League’s last four.

As he is currently managing a new team and is unlikely to want to answer questions about his old teams, it seems foolish to keep asking him questions about Chelsea. Given that he is now focused on managing Bayern Munich, he undoubtedly has aspirations to lead the Bavarians to success in the Bundesliga and Europe.

We will always be appreciative of what Tuchel accomplished while managing Chelsea. He is the only second manager to have led us to the Champions League with a fractured team after Lampard left.

More Chelsea News:

Now, though, is the time to move on, as we must concentrate on the remaining games of the season and only hope to finish it on a strong note.
