Thomas Tuchel claims Chelsea have changed massively since his sacking
Thomas Tuchel, the former Chelsea manager, has commented on the club parting ways with his successor Graham Potter after a poor run of results.
The 2-0 defeat at Aston Villa on Saturday served as the final straw for Todd Boehly, and they fired the former Brighton man. During Potter’s tenure, the team won just 12 games out of a possible 31. And now sit in the bottom half of the Premier League table.
The 47-year-old was chosen after Tuchel, who is now in charge of Bayern Munich, was fired. Under the 49-year-old, Chelsea won the Champions League as he led the Blues to 69 victories in 107 games.
Julian Nagelsmann, who was fired by Bayern Munich, has since emerged as one of the potential candidates to lead Chelsea. Bruno Saltor, a former captain of Brighton, Hove, and Albion, has been appointed Chelsea’s caretaker manager in the meantime.
Fabrizio Romano posted on his official Twitter account what Tuchel stated after learning that Potter had been fired on Sunday. The German clearly wasn’t afraid to speak his mind.
“I saw the news about Potter being sacked last night—iit took me a while to process my dismissal. Chelsea has changed massively after that, so it affected me less”.
We certainly don’t believe anything has changed; the club is still the one that was once run by Roman Abramovich. Although it was thought that the club would continue to support the England manager despite his team’s defeats, this was not the case. Chelsea have now experienced the dismissal of two managers in a single campaign.
Potter faced a large responsibility, and on top of that, the club brought in so many players that it was difficult for him to conduct effective training sessions, which led to chaos.

If the owners want their long-term ambition to succeed, they should put their faith in him and allow him adequate time if the new manager is to be named just this season.
