“I don’t know”- Pundit says Chelsea will not win another game this season

Jamie O’Hara feels Chelsea will not win their remaining games this season

After Chelsea’s 2-1 loss to Brighton Hove & Albion, Jamie O’Hara believes they won’t win any more games this campaign.

The current state of affairs at the club is simply appalling, and for a recent Chelsea squad, this is completely irresponsible as well as far from satisfactory.

Frank Lampard suffered his third loss in his first three games as temporary manager, and it was Chelsea’s fourth loss in five games overall. Brighton thoroughly dominated the Blues, who failed to take advantage of their opportunities and appeared to have no idea what they were doing.

The supporters also addressed Todd Boehly, who was seated beneath them, after the final whistle. And the owner was also seen going to the Chelsea locker room.

After the game, the former Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham player predicted whether Chelsea would win in their upcoming matches. Journalist Simon Philips quoted him on Twitter, saying:

“I don’t know if Chelsea will win another game this season; I don’t think they’re going to win another game.”

If Chelsea lose their remaining games of the season, they might fall below its current ranking of 11th. The Blues will now host Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League on Tuesday night as they will hope to turn around a 2-0 first-leg deficit.

As for O’Hara’s prediction, he could well be exaggerating. Not winning another game this season seems a bit extreme. Although we do face Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle United and Manchester United, we also have games against Nottingham Forest, Brentford, and AFC Bournemouth.

It may be true that, given that we are just 12 points above the relegation zone, if we play poorly in the remaining games of this season, we could finish well below 11th place.

Players appear to be without ambition, as their confidence to perform well and win games has diminished as a result of a string of losses. They are undoubtedly displeased with the disappointing outcomes and eager to find an alternate route, while the appointment of Lampard has not helped the club as they remain a sub-par side in the Premier League.

And the gloomy clouds are gathering over Stamford Bridge before they engulf us whole, the match against Real Madrid may prove to be a turning point, but if not, our season is over.
