Chelsea handed potential summer transfer boost for Brighton star Alexis Mac Allister
Chelsea transfer target Alexis Mac Allister could be set to leave Brighton & Hove Albion in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool are all among the teams interested in signing the midfielder, in addition to Chelsea. cClearly, we will not be handed a free run at attempting to land the midfield star.
Brighton reportedly have no interest in selling the midfielder this summer. Yet if Mac Allister is serious about joining a major league team, the aforementioned teams would be eager to sign him.
After a strong performance in the World Cup, Allister is having one of his best seasons with the Seagulls. In 24 Premier League games, the 24-year-old has eight goals.
Clubs in the league have expressed interest in him as a result of this, and according to his father agent Carlos, who claimed to TyC Sports (h/t Football.London) in February:
“For now, he’s at Brighton. It’s a very good thing that he returned from the World Cup and has not pushed to leave, enjoying his success calmly in a team that loves him very much. The reception he received was great. He’s very happy at the club. We know there will be chances to leave in July. But prior to the World Cup, Alexis renewed his contract, so the club has the opportunity to make a big sale.”
It seems logical that teams are interested in Allister given his reputation at Brighton following his World Cup performance. He is a fantastic midfielder who can operate well in tight areas and open up opportunities for the attacking players.
In addition, he is a fantastic goal scorer, as seen by his eight Premier League goals for the Seagulls. He is a dynamic midfielder who can play both defensively and offensively.
Given the interest in him from United, Liverpool, and Arsenal, signing him would be difficult. Knowing that United and Arsenal might participate in the Champions League next season, Allister could join them given he will have the desire to play in Champions League.

Let’s wait to find out how things turn out, but considering that Todd Boehly has always placed a priority on acquiring elite players, he could be able to sign the midfielder if he is truly interested.
