A View From The Bridge

Chelsea tipped to make a move for free agent linked with managerial job at Tottenham

Chelsea tipped to make a move for former Bayern manager Julien Nagelsmann

Speaking on The House of Champions Podcast as quoted by Football. London,  Nigel Reo-Coker and Fabrizio Romano have tipped Chelsea to make a move for recently sacked Julien Nagelsmann.

It has been a rollercoaster ride for the football world as Bayern Munich announced the sacking of Julian Nagelsmann with Thomas Tuchel announced as his replacement. While this news has left many fans in a state of shock, it has also fueled speculations about Nagelsmann’s next destination.

Chelsea is a club that has been known for its shrewdness in the transfer market. They have a reputation for going after the best managers in the world, and Nagelsmann certainly fits that bill. His numbers speak for themselves, and his track record at Bayern Munich is a testament to his managerial prowess.

Nagelsmann’s attacking style of play and tactical flexibility could take Chelsea to the next level. The Blues are currently struggling to show their true potential under the managerial reign of Graham Potter.

Speaking about what the future holds for Nagelsmann, the duo have tipped the Blues as someone they can see making a move for the former RB Leipzig manager in the summer

“Yeah, I can see a lot of Premier League clubs circling like sharks around a manager of this calibre, like you say, Tottenham could be one and I wouldn’t be surprised if Chelsea thrown their name in the hat later down the line”

Julian Nagelsmann is an option for Chelsea

Chelsea’s current squad is filled with talented players, but there are areas that need improvement. The midfield, in particular, has been an issue this season. Nagelsmann has a history of working well with young players, and Chelsea has a crop of exciting young talent waiting to be unleashed.

However, Potter has shown in recent weeks that he is turning around the situation at the Bridge. If he is able to do it consistently, the English manager must be given a long run at the job.

After all, Potter is someone who had worked magic with a much lesser talented squad at Brighton. With time, he might be able to do the same at Chelsea. We have to be patient.
