Chelsea, Manchester City, and Arsenal are interested in signing Leeds United forward Wilfried Gnonto
Wilfried Gnonto has garnered interest from Premier League clubs, with Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester City keeping an eye on the Leeds United forward, as per Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Metro).
Robert Mancini has called Gnonto for international action for Italy’s Euro 2024 qualifiers in March, as his club statistics have impressed the Italian coach. Gnonto, who signed for Leeds United last summer, has four goals in 20 outings across all competitions.
He has already made a name for himself at Leeds at the age of 19, and new manager Javi Gracia has made him a regular starter.
It remains to be seen if he wants a way out of Elland Road soon considering Leeds are in a relegation battle as they are 14th in the table, just two points above the bottom three.
Also, they could gain enough profit from his transfer because his estimated worth is £16 million, considering Leeds bought him for just £4 million last summer.
The youngster has been playing in the Premier League for a year and the fact that he is 19 and has six goals is a respectable record. If Leeds are demoted to the Championship, his likelihood of leaving the club will naturally increase, and there are already many exits planned for the player.
Joining Manchester City would not make logical sense given they already have enough depth on their left flank with the likes of Jack Grealish and Phil Foden. The situation is the same with Arsenal who have Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard
Meanwhile, Chelsea also have the same situation on the left flank, with the likes of Mykhaylo Mudryk, Raheem Sterling, Joao Felix and Noni Madueke. Hence, signing him would give Graham Potter even more selection headache.

Nevertheless, he could be one to watch for the future. It would be wise for us to revisit this interest later in his career because right now, it would be a surprise if the full Italy international moves to a team where he doesn’t play regularly.
