Report: Chelsea star could still leave Stamford Bridge despite deadline day heartbreak

Journalist Santi Aouna reveals Al-Nassr have approached Chelsea star Hakim Ziyech.

Hakim Ziyech urged to look for Chelsea exit following PSG heartbreak

Hakim Ziyech has been given permission by Chelsea to look for a move to other teams despite his deadline-day transfer to Paris Saint-Germain falling through.

It is understood by 90min that PSG were furious with the Blues after last-minute mistakes made by the Premier League giants cost him a move to the Parc des Princes.

However, there were also issues in France’s Professional Football League (LFP) office. The team appealed the decision, but no documentation was signed before the deadline, which caused the LFP to block the move.

Despite his unsuccessful transfer, the 29-year-old can still join another league since Chelsea don’t seem interested in keeping him and have given him the freedom to look for interested parties.

Although it depends on the former Ajax Amsterdam player’s decision whether he is interested in joining those sides, it is claimed that interest has come from Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. If not, he can compete for a spot at Chelsea and show Graham Potter his mettle and prove the doubters wrong.

It is natural that the player hasn’t performed well since leaving Ajax, but if the management and owners are patient with him, things could change.

If you don’t prove your worth in modern football, you’ll either be transferred or spend the remainder of your career on loan transfers. The same thing happens with managers, who frequently are fired within a few weeks or months.

However, two seasons at Stamford Bridge were plenty to demonstrate his worth, but the Moroccan was unable to develop his game. It would be in his best interest to do so elsewhere, where he knows he has a better chance at playing to his strengths.

More Chelsea News:

Considering Chelsea’s massive spending in transfer windows, Ziyech will certainly not get enough playing time, as the clubs would prefer youngsters over him.
