Mykhaylo Mudryk liked post criticising Chelsea teammate Marc Cucurella
Mykhaylo Mudryk was caught liking a post that trolled Chelsea teammate Marc Cucurella with his performance in an annoying 1-1 draw against West Ham United.
Cucurella endured a difficult game against Hammers (h/t Mirror.UK), as he once again failed to impress Chelsea fans in the match.
Along with insulting the former Brighton and Hove Albion left-back, Mudryk also expressed his anger by liking a post on Instagram that was posted by a supporter and showed the 24-year-old defender disregarding Mudryk in favour of other Blues teammates.
To avoid any disruption, the former Shakhtar Donetsk player hastily removed his like, but the supporters caught wind of it and uploaded it online.
It further demonstrated Mudryk’s disappointment with the Spanish player for failing to form a partnership on the right wing. Joao Felix expressed his annoyance by requesting more or wider space for the ball. But when the Spaniard was substituted, the away supporters applauded.
Additionally, Cucurella allowed West Ham players too much room on the left flank and was responsible for the goals scored by the Hammers by failing to stop the player’s cross.
Regarding the 24-year-old’s performance, Graham Potter remarked that Cucurella ought to have performed better. Since leaving Brighton for £63 million in the summer, the 24-year-old left-back has made little impression on the left flank.
Potter has however continued to employ the left-back, but with Ben Chilwell’s recovery, both players will receive an equal amount of playing time.
However, once Chilwell finds his stride, Cucurella will have a massive obstacle to overcome to compete with him. The former Brighton player had plenty of time under Potter to rediscover his rhythm, but his efforts have so far been in vain.
The Spanish player hasn’t been at his best, though, and it could be because of mounting pressure on the clubs and manager to scrape out wins.

Not every player can thrive under pressure, and it seems like Cucurella will need a season to establish himself at Chelsea, but it’s up to the board if they want to keep him until then.
