German manager spotted at Stamford Bridge as pressure builds on Chelsea boss Graham Potter

Hansi Flick’s presence during Chelsea vs Fulham draw adds doubts over Potter Chelsea future

Hansi Flick was pictured at SW6 during Chelsea’s stalemate against Fulham, which added another layer of speculation as Graham Potter’s future at the club continues to be in doubt.

As his team strives for a victory following yet another draw against Cottages, pressure has been building on the former Brighton & Hove Albion boss.

Many people suspected there may have been discussions between the coach and Todd Boehly while the former head coach of Bayern Munich (h/t Mirror.UK) was at Stamford Bridge.

Four wins in 12 games have been viewed as a cause for concern for the team, and Chelsea’s continued poor play under Potter has led to links to Flick taking over the club.

If Chelsea does not make the Champions League after spending £323 million in the January transfer window, consequences will follow. The board promised him their support as they still believe the 47-year-old can change the situation.

However, the head coach of Germany has frequently been spotted at Stamford Bridge. He was also present when Chelsea lost to Manchester City and it remains to be seen if this is more than just a coincidence.

And it’s thought that his most recent trip to the stadium was related to his meeting with Boehly. Flick has a wonderful reputation as a manager since he guided Bayern Munich to the Champions League, which resulted in a treble for the German giants.

However, we cannot speculate as to whether he was just there to see his German national team player Kai Havertz, or if there are ongoing negotiations between the club and him.

It appears that Potter hasn’t been decisive in many areas. He needs to be brutal when selecting his team and must not give into the pressure of not being able to drop big names due their reputations.

More Chelsea News:

However, Potter has plenty of time on his hands, and we need to watch what happens in the upcoming games because they will be very important for Chelsea’s future.

We hired him at a time when there was relative stability under manager Thomas Tuchel. He was brought here to guide a new generation of our team and it would be senseless to sack him before he even properly gets his hand on the superstar arrivals. Patience is the key. And patience doesn’t mean a month or two – it can even mean a couple of seasons.
