Juventus to battle Chelsea for this 23-year-old World Cup winning Premier League ace

Juventus join Chelsea in race for Brighton star Alexis Mac Allister

According to Daily Mail, Juventus have joined Chelsea in the race for talented Argentinian World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Mac Allister has had an excellent few weeks that has made him hot property in the footballing circles. The Argentinian was a standout performer for his nation at the World Cup on their way to the trophy.

The Brighton attacking midfielder has been one of the revelations of the tournament and in the absence of Angel di Maria, he took a lot off the creative burden of Lionel Messi with his intelligent play.

No one can forget the Brighton attacking midfielders unbelievable assist for the Di Maria goal in the final against France when Argentina took a 2-0 lead from a sensational team goal.

Now, Mac Allister could be set to join Di Maria himself in Juventus with the talented Brighton man linked with a move to the Italian giants but they are definitely not alone.

Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs are all interested in signing the talented attacking midfielder and this is a transfer that can really heat up in the January transfer window with so many parties interested.

One thing that could work in favour of Chelsea is the fact that Graham Potter has coached him in Brighton during his time as the manager there and this could tempt the player to come to the Bridge.

Chelsea also need to figure out where they want to play the talented midfielder. We already have Mason Mount in that role and if we need a new player in that position is something for Potter to decide.

Mac Allister has a huge future in the game and he might not remain in Brighton for too long. It remains to be seen where he ends up. Chelsea is an option but there are competitors to be wary of.
