Club News: The full Chelsea squad available for selection to face Manchester United
Chelsea will hope to continue their unbeaten run in the Graham Potter era as they take on Manchester United later today. The club has won five games and drawn the other two since Potter was appointed in September.
The Blues were held to a goalless draw away at Brentford earlier this week, but fans will hope for a more favourable result at home today.
United, meanwhile, won their last game 2-0 at home against Tottenham Hotspur and will be full of confidence as they face another London club in as many as three days.
Potter will be without three senior players in N’Golo Kante, Wesley Fofana and Reece James, while Conor Gallagher is in doubt for the game. The midfielder had fallen ill and was replaced by Mateo Kovacic inside the first quarter of an hour against Brentford last time.
Kante has not featured for the club since August, while Fofana and James suffered injuries against AC Milan in the Champions League, over the two legs.
Kepa Arrizabalaga is expected to start again in goal. The Spaniard seems to have rediscovered his form and was simply phenomenal for the Blues last time out. Trevoh Chalobah is also expected to continue in the first-team with the 23-year-old having stepped up in Fofana’s absence.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected to lead the line with Mason Mount and Raheem Sterling as support. Jorginho is expected in the middle of the park with either Kai Havertz or Kovacic to partner him.
