Club News: Full Chelsea squad available for selection against Brighton & Hove Albion
Chelsea are unbeaten since Graham Potter took over the managerial helm at the club from Thomas Tuchel in early September. The Blues have played nine games under the Englishman in all competitions, having won six of them in the process.
But Potter could now face his biggest challenge so far. The Englishman will return to Amex Stadium later today but will be standing in front of the opposition dugout.
Brighton & Hove Albion have struggled since Potter left and are without a win in five games. We will now see the team the former Brighton manager has at his disposal for the game later today.
The Blues will be without three senior players for this trip. Reece James is still unavailable for selection after the right-back picked up an injury during our 2-0 win against AC Milan in the Champions League earlier this month.
French midfielder N’Golo Kante is recovering from surgery and is expected to miss four months of action. The 31-year-old last featured for the club back in August.
Wesley Fofana, who picked up a sprained knee during his side’s 3-0 win over AC Milan in the Champions League earlier this month, will also not be available for selection.
Kalidou Koulibaly was absent from the squad against RB Salzburg earlier this week. The 31-year-old summer signing picked up a knee injury earlier this month and is likely to miss the trip to Brighton later today.
