Chelsea star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang admits to fulfilling a dream by scoring a goal at the San Siro vs AC Milan
Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has admitted that he fulfilled a ‘big dream’ by playing and scoring a goal at the San Siro against AC Milan on Tuesday night.
The 33-year-old was on the scoresheet against AC Milan as his side beat the Italian champions 2-0 in their own turf. He was signed by the Blues this summer on deadline day from Barcelona.
And now, the striker took to his Instagram (h/t Metro), to reveal that it was his dream to play at the San Siro. He finally fulfilled that dream and even scored at the historic stadium.
“Big dream achieved!! I used to come to this stadium to see my brothers playing and never had the chance to play at San Siro myself, now it’s done ✅ another great team performance come on Chelsea.”
While the 33-year-old has played for multiple clubs throughout Europe in his career including the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal and Barcelona, it was AC Milan where he broke into the scene.
He joined the Rossoneri in 2007 and was promoted to the senior team the following year. But for the next four years, the Gabon international went out on a series of loans to different clubs in France.
Aubameyang finally moved to Saint-Etienne on a permanent transfer in January 2012. In all his years at the Italian club, the 33-year-old never made one single appearance for them.
