Transfer News: Juventus and AC Milan are keen on signing Chelsea star Christian Pulisic
According to @Blue Footy on Twitter (via Daily Mail) (h/t Football.London), Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan are keen on signing American superstar Christian Pulisic from Chelsea in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The former Borussia Dortmund man joined the Blues in 2019 and has since then had a very mixed time at Stamford Bridge. Injuries have not helped the winger’s cause with the talented forward struggling to get a consistent run in the team.
This does not mean that Pulisic has not shown what he is capable of, often displaying flashes of the brilliance he possesses. The 23-year-old has played 38 times for the Blues this season scoring eight goals and providing five assists across all competitions.
Pulisic has recently admitted that he wanted more playing time. Italian behemoths, Juve and AC Milan are interested in the American winger and could make a move for him.
Don’t rush?
Anyone who has seen Pulisic plays knows that the American is an absolute beast on his day and can become a huge player for the Blues.
Just 23, Pulisic has many many years ahead of him. If he continues to develop at Chelsea under Thomas Tuchel and manages to stay fit, then he could be a serious player for the Blues in the future. We must not rush into a decision yet with him.
If Pulisic were to leave, then Chelsea will have to look for other options to replace the American in the Blues squad. The talented winger has a contract till 2024 and if the player wants to indeed move on, we can make the maximum money out of selling him this summer.
