The men’s squad will face Liverpool on Saturday, while the women’s team will face Man City on Sunday, making for a thrilling weekend for the Blues fans.
Boehly paid a personal visit to the training facility to meet the players, managers, and other staff members from both teams, in order to encourage and support them. According to the official tweet, he went to the facility to see the boys and girls on Thursday and Friday respectively.
The potential owner decides to engage with the team members

“He’s ambitious, as we are, and it’s a perfect fit. I saw him at one of the games he went to at Stamford Bridge but he was upstairs and I was downstairs!”
Hayes also talked with LA Dodgers owner Mark Boehly ahead of her team’s FA Cup final versus Manchester City on Sunday, and the conversation was immensely pleasant. To have everyone on the same wavelength is a good sign for the future.
‘I had lunch with Todd,’ Hayes revealed. ‘He watched the girls train, I had a really lovely couple of hours with him.
Chelsea women’s will be aiming for a league and cup double on Sunday. They are said to have their full squad as Fran Kirby is back for the first time since February. She has just recovered from a fatigue-related illness. The ladies will be looking forward to going all out and winning it against the Citizens.

A day before meeting Hayes, Boehly made a visit to Tuchel and his team. The Blues would face a difficult challenge in defeating Jorgen Klopp’s side, who won the Carabao Cup final in their previous meeting. The American’s visit reassures the players about the importance of the match for the club’s future, as they aim to end the season with a piece of silverware.
This is a fantastic gesture from the American, who will take over the club at the end of the month and already appears to be a member of the team. His hands-on approach should excite the fans as the club’s future appears bright under such an ambitious owner.
