20-year-old Chelsea starlet keeping options open amidst interest from bitter rivals

Transfer News: Armando Broja could leave Chelsea for Arsenal in summer

According to The Express, Armando Broja could decide to leave Chelsea and join Arsenal in the summer transfer window. He is currently plying his trade on loan at Southampton and has impressed with flying colours so far. That has resulted in increased attention in the youngster in recent times.

The Armenian striker is keeping all his options open ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window. The Gunners have already expressed an interest in signing him, having made attacking reinforcements a priority. Broja could be open to entertaining proposals from them despite being bitter rivals to his parent club.

At the same time, the 20-year-old stay at Stamford Bridge beyond this season. After all, he has not ruled out anything just yet so he could pledge his allegiance with the Blues in the future. He is keen on assessing his options and gaining a foothold in Thomas Tuchel’s first team.

Cause of concern?

There is no issue at this point as the Albanian simply wants to assess his options before making a firm decision once his loan spell ends. That is a reasonable stance for any player to take as it could determine how their future might pan out moving forward. Hence, this decision from him is very common as the taking right choice is an essential aspect since it could shape his fate.

That means there is an equal chance for the Blues loanee to stay with us in the long term and for him to team up with Mikel Arteta’s side. The latter has not made any direct contact with him so far, but things could turn out ugly if we take this situation lightly in the coming months.

Moreover, the interest from several other unknown Premier League also forces us to be on our toes regarding this matter. We must ensure not to lose out on another one of the top talents currently, just as we did with Tino Livramento and Tariq Lamptey.

With not many months left before the summer transfer window opens, Marino Granovskaia must be ready to deal with this situation when the time is ripe. Whether that will happen or not would only be known in due time. But what we can tell is that under the right circumstance, the youngster could become a huge success for us in the future.

With players like Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic struggling to showcase their quality in the striker role, the Albanian international could have enough chances to make himself a regular under Tuchel. As such, it is up to the board now to convince the loanee to stay past this summer.
