Will Manchester City stop the Blues’ unbeaten run?

Chelsea fans will be watching the upcoming match against the Man City on Sunday closely to see if Tuchel’s men in blue will be able to continue their unbeaten run at Stamford Bridge. The last few matches have gone well for Chelsea with the Pensioners going into the match that kicks off at 14.30 on the 25th having not lost one of their last 13 games.

Last night saw Chelsea beat Aston Villa 4-3 in the EFL Cup by means of penalties after the match came to a draw after the final whistle. The Blues will take some confidence from the previous time that these two giants met in the upcoming game.

The Blues will know that the last time that Chelsea played Manchester City was at the final of the UEFA Champions League final in Porto a few months ago on the 29th of May, when Chelsea denied Manchester City their first ever Uefa title and went on to lift the trophy for a second time.

Chelsea has not suffered a defeat since winning Europe’s most coveted cup and has won nine of their last 12 matches and only drawing two games. Chelsea won their last match was against Aston Villa on Wednesday evening comfortably at Stamford Bridge in the EFL Championship.

Chelsea is currently leading the pack on the Premier League table and is still considered as the second most favourite team to win this year’s English Premier League title and their odds of winning have also increased and is sitting on 15/8. Manchester City is the favourite to win this years title with 13/8, Liverpool @ 7/2 and Man United @ 9/2. Chelsea will be travelling to Allianz Stadium in Turin for their second match in the UEFA Champions League groups’ stage against Juventus on the 29 of September at 10pm.

The men in blue are in Group H alongside Zenit, Malmo and Juventus. Betway has the odds for the upcoming match against Juventus in favour of Chelsea with 2.10 and 3.53 for Juventus. Chelsea will face Malmo in Matchday 3 of 6 at Stamford Bridge on the 20th of October.
