Chelsea star Jorginho reveals glowing recommendation for Romelu Lukaku from Italy mates
According to Football.london, Chelsea star Jorginho revealed the glowing recommendations he received from his Italy mates about Romelu Lukaku. As per their feedback, Lukaku is said to be very hardworking and help others. Jorginho was very happy that the striker is now at Chelsea.
Before Lukaku made his much-awaited return to Chelsea, he was tearing it up in the Serie A for the last two seasons. He was scoring goals at a steady rate and his overall attacking play had also improved under Antonio Conte. However, a £97.5million move took place over the summer as Lukaku returned.
Lukaku has not wasted any time whatsoever in hitting the ground running. He struck a debut goal against Arsenal and a brace against Aston Villa. Another goal was added recently against Zenit St. Petersburg. It felt like Chelsea had finally gotten their act together with a clinical goal scorer up top.
It would seem Jorginho received quite some good words about Lukaku from his Italian mates who have played with him. All of them agreed on the fact that Lukaku had a great work ethic.
“They (Italy team-mates who played with Lukaku) said that he works a lot, he can help a lot, he tries to talk, he works hard. We are really happy that he is really helping everyone. That’s what everyone does here, we try to help each other — and he came with the right mentality, working and trying to help. So I’m really happy for him as well because he works so hard during training and deserves every goal. A big impact is well deserved.”
