“I want to win”- 26-year-old Chelsea new boy sets lofty Premier League goal

Chelsea midfielder Saul Niguez set to miss the clash against Middlesbrough after testing positive for Covid-19.

Chelsea ace Saul Niguez sends title warning to rival teams

According to Liverpool Echo, Chelsea ace Saul Niguez has sent a warning to rival clubs over title aspirations. The new signing has gone on to set his goal of winning the Premier League for Chelsea and states that he is in the best team to achieve that target.

Chelsea might have left it a little too late to get their man but in the end, it did not matter much. The Blues completed a loan deal for Saul on deadline day who was their third signing of the summer after Marcus Bettinelli and Romelu Lukaku. There is also the option to sign the Spaniard permanently in 2022 for £30million.

Saul has completed some formalities with his interviews and photo ops and has now joined up with the side for training. Since he was not called up by Spain for their WC Qualifiers, he was free to integrate with his new mates and participate in training sessions. This will no doubt be a boost as he can get up to speed over the next few days ahead of the upcoming game against Aston Villa.

Chelsea have started the season well and Saul’s addition only helps. The midfielder has now set some goals for himself and also sent a subtle warning to our rivals over winning the Premier League title.

“When a team wins the Champions League, you already know how strong they are – but when you actually face them, you realise how hard they work. I want to win the Premier League and I think I am in the best team to do it.”

The on-loan midfielder will very likely be in contention to feature against Aston Villa in some capacity after the injury troubles for N’Golo Kante. It will be a season to look forward to as Saul makes his bow in the Premier League after spending so much time in Spain.
