Transfer News: Leeds United enter the race for Chelsea target Adama Traore
According to transfer news from Mirror, Chelsea are set to face competition from Leeds United for Adama Traore. Both managers want the player with Thomas Tuchel seeing him as a good fit for his tactical system.
The 25-year-old Wolves man is a quick and strong winger who can leave the best of defenders lying in his wake. He has made a name for himself at the Molineux after failed stints at previous clubs such as Middlesbrough.
While he may not have had his best season for the side in the one that went by, he is still one of the more effective wingers in the league. There was also the injury to Raul Jimenez, with who he had formed a dangerous partnership. His absence had also likely affected his tally in front of goal.
Bielsa and Tuchel both want Traore
While Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Spaniard over the last month or so, they will now face competition from Leeds United. The Whites are now said to be after the winger as manager Marcelo Bielsa wants him on his side. The club are prepared to break their transfer record in order to get him.
