Transfer News: Callum Hudson-Odoi considering his future at Chelsea
According to transfer news from Mirror, Callum Hudson-Odoi is considering his future at Chelsea. The youngster, who has endured a tough season under Thomas Tuchel, missed out on a call-up to the England squad for the Euros and is thinking about his future at the club and national level.
Hudson-Odoi burst onto the scene as a 17-year-old in the 2018/19 season where he made 24 senior appearances. However, he has become a fringe player over the last one season as Chelsea made a host of signings last summer.
Hudson-Odoi was also not helped by Thomas Tuchel’s arrival and subsequent switch to a back-three formation. He was given chances to play as a right-wingback but in the last few games, it was either Reece James or Cesar Azpilicueta starting there.
With a summer of rest for the young forward, he has travelled to Ghana for holiday. During this time, he has been thinking about his future at the club as well as the international level. The winger has been thinking about playing senior football for Ghana after being sidelined in the England setup.

The 20-year-old Chelsea academy graduate is not coming off the best of seasons. He has been bogged down by competition and a change of formation. Letting him leave on a temporary deal might not be such a bad idea. He clearly needs more game time than what Tuchel can afford him.
