“Talk about agenda” – These Chelsea fans don’t seem to approve of the Premier League fixture list for 2021/22 season

Chelsea fans react as Premier League announce 2021/22 fixtures list

The Premier League fixtures for 2021/22 are out now and Chelsea have been handed one of the toughest starts to the season. The season is scheduled to start on the 14th of August and the final gameweek to be on the 22nd of May, 2022.

The opening day will see Crystal Palace visit Stamford Bridge. However, it’s after this that it gets challenging. Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City are the opponents in the next five games.

Chelsea v Arsenal – Premier League – Stamford Bridge Thomas Tuchel during the Premier League match at Stamford Bridge, London.

There will be a visit from Manchester United on 27th November before which there will be a trip to Leicester. December and January will be the most challenging with six games to play in the last month of the year. In January, there are return games against Liverpool, Man City and Spurs. The Blues will end their season against Watford in the final week.

Last season saw us just scrape through to achieve a top-4 finish. However, we won the Champions League by beating Manchester City in the final.

We have set up a fantastic platform to build success and if anything, the signs under Tuchel have been positive indeed. A good transfer window will see us set up a balanced squad to deal with four competitions next season. Fixtures are bound to come thick and fast, and Tuchel needs to be spot on with man management too.

Here is how the Chelsea fans reacted on Twitter after the Premier League fixture list for 2021/22 was announced.
