Chelsea Transfer News: AC Milan set sights on Olivier Giroud, Hakim Ziyech, and Tiemoue Bakayoko
According to reports Milan Live (h/t Caught Offside via Football.london), AC Milan are poised to ‘hold talks’ with Chelsea over a transfer for three more of their players in the summer.
Olivier Giroud, Tiemoue Bakayoko, as well as Hakim Ziyech are all linked with a move to I Rossoneri. This comes after Stefano Pioli’s side having already secured the transfer of Fikayo Tomori.
As per a report by the Express, Tomori has agreed to a £25million switch to make his loan move a permanent one at San Siro. And now, the Blues could see more players head to the seven-time UEFA Champions League winners.
Di Marzio (h/t The Express) states that Giroud has agreed on a move to the Serie A side and the only thing left is Chelsea’s approval. As for Bakayoko, his agent has already hinted at a move to Milan.
AC Milan plan Chelsea raid
“Milan are looking for a player with his characteristics and it’s likely that they can make a proposal. At the moment, Tiemoue is a Chelsea player; but there’s a possibility to change his shirt and go to an Italian team. Milan are a great team. And if the opportunity arises, we will do everything possible to bring him to the Rossoneri.”
As far as Ziyech is concerned, the former Ajax winger only joined the Blues last summer and it would be a surprise for a lot of fans to see the back of him already.
Chelsea do have a plethora of attackers but Ziyech’s quality and versatility can surely be of help to Thomas Tuchel. It remains to be seen if the Blues would be open to such a significant exodus in the same window.
