Transfer News: Thomas Tuchel to be handed £150m transfer war chest for the summer

According to transfer news from The Sun, Chelsea are all set to hand Thomas Tuchel a budget of £150m this summer. The Blues hierarchy have been impressed with the German and are keen to provide him with the resources to strengthen the side further.

When Chelsea sacked Frank Lampard and appointed Thomas Tuchel, even the most optimistic of fans wouldn’t have expected the stage where Chelsea are right now. The change and ideas were visible from Tuchel’s first game itself. The formation was changed and some players who were in the cold under Lampard were brought back into the fray.

However, as the season is close to wrapping up with Chelsea still having a shot at the big prizes, plans are being made for next season. While Tuchel hardly had time to sign players in January, the summer window will give him a chance to do so.

For that purpose, the club are all set to offer Tuchel a massive transfer budget of £150million. It is understood that signing a new striker is of the utmost priority. The likes of Erling Haaland and Romelu Lukaku have been mooted to make the move to Chelsea this summer.
