Thomas Tuchel hints at three Chelsea players starting against Porto
According to Football.london, Thomas Tuchel has hinted about three Chelsea starters against Porto. The Blues take on the Portuguese side in their second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
Goals from Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell were enough to hand Tuchel’s men the advantage going into this game. They are also coming on the back of a resounding win over Crystal Palace at the weekend and morale is on the up.
Tuchel refused to be carried away with last week’s first leg result and said that they will not change the way they play just because of the lead they hold.
He felt that the team has a certain way of playing and that they have to react to whatever happens on the pitch. However, he did drop a bit of a hint over some of the starters in the game.
“Honestly, you don’t want to be in a fight with Toni Rudiger, Azpi [Cesar Azpilicueta] and Kova [Mateo Kovacic], all our emotional guys.”

All three of the stars started in the first leg and impressed with their performances. The two defenders, especially, have found a new lease of life under Tuchel. Chelsea will be hoping to make it to the semi-finals after 7 years and maybe even go all the way to repeat their 2012 run.
