Chelsea News: Mason Mount hails Thomas Tuchel impact

According to news from Daily Mail, Mason Mount hailed the impact Thomas Tuchel has had at Chelsea since taking over. The Blues managed to pull through to the semi-finals despite the second-leg defeat against Porto.

Frank Lampard was let go in January after a string of underwhelming results and Tuchel was soon appointed in the aftermath.

The German has managed to turn things around well enough to the point that Chelsea are still in with a shout at top-four in the league and have made it to the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Mason Mount, who has been an ever-present figure in the team this season despite the managerial change, has spoken about how much of an impact Tuchel has had on the team since taking over.

‘[Tuchel] has had a big impact. It’s difficult to come in mid-way through the season but all players, we knew from day one what he wanted and we’ve implemented it.

We’ve been working hard in training and we show it on game day. We’ve been solid as a team, performing at a high level – hopefully that continues because there are massive games coming up and we need to keep playing at high level.’
