According to Daily Mail, Chelsea ace Christian Pulisic has become the subject of interest for Manchester United, Liverpool and Bayern Munich. Links to those clubs have emerged after the American was once again left out of the starting line-up.
While Tuchel did admit that he has been unfair in not giving more chances to Pulisic to impress, the whole situation did little to help as several clubs are now said to be after him. The Everton game was another in a series of snubs for Pulisic as he has now failed to start even one game under Tuchel.
Prior to Tuchel’s arrival, Pulisic was one of the most important players for Chelsea under Frank Lampard. Under Tuchel, most players have received chances to showcase their talent. However, there seems to be no place for the USMNT star in the new setup under Tuchel.
It’s not without reason that Pulisic finds himself out of the side. To put it simply, he has no place in a 3-4-2-1 formation. He is a winger who thrives in a 4-3-3 formation and likes to run at defenders. That position does not exist in a 3-4-2-1.
Chelsea will have a lot to think about now that clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool and Bayern are interested in the forward. It will be hard to see them sanction the sale of such a promising forward but if the situation does not improve, they might just have to go through with his exit.
