“Through to the semi-finals”: Some fans react as Chelsea draw Porto in the Champions League

Chelsea fans react to being drawn with Porto in the Champions League

The Champions League quarter-final draws are done and Chelsea are set to face Porto (h/t The Guardian). Chelsea toppled Atletico Madrid in the round of 16 by a 3-0 aggregate scoreline while Porto went past Juventus on away goals after the tie ended 4-4 on aggregate.

The other three games are also blockbusters as we see a repeat of the last season’s Champions League final with PSG paired with Bayern Munich.

There will also be a repeat of the 2018 final as Real Madrid have been pit with Liverpool. Finally, there is Manchester City who will take on the exciting Borussia Dortmund.

No fixture can be taken for granted in the Champions League and it will be interesting to see how the Blues approach this game.

We have been on a positive run under Tuchel so far and beating Porto to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League would be quite a boost.

Tuchel has to be wary of Porto as the Portuguese giants beat Juventus to reach this stage.

Here’s how the Blues fans reacted on Twitter to the draw with Porto.

The semi-final blocks were also confirmed, with the winner of Chelsea-Porto playing the winner of Real Madrid-Liverpool. That means the winner of Man City-Dortmund will play the winner of Bayern-PSG.

The quarter-finals first legs are to be played on 6th and 7th April and the second leg will take place a week later.
