Mason Mount doubtful to feature against Poland
According to Sky Sports, Chelsea ace Mason Mount is a doubt for England’s last game against Poland in the WC Qualifiers. Mount missed training prior to the game and is doing recovery work in the gym.
The youngster has been a vital presence for England in the last two games against San Marino and Albania. He assisted Raheem Sterling in the first game while he managed to get on the scoresheet against Albania.
Gareth Southgate even praised Mount for his display for England vs San Marino. Despite playing only 45 minutes, he managed to create 4 chances and Southgate felt that he set the tone in the first-half itself.
England have started off well in their WC qualification campaign, winning both games so far, beating San Marino 5-0 and Albania 2-0. Poland are likely to be more competitive but they will be without the talismanic Robert Lewandowski and 4 other players who tested positive for COVID.

The game will still proceed despite the COVID cases in the Poland camp. All said and done, England will still need to up the ante given how lethargic they looked in the last game as they laboured to a win.
