Footyheadlines.com (h/t Daily Mail) featured a number of ‘leaked’ Nike home and away kit, with one of them being that of Chelsea.
The home shirt does not vary a lot from the current blue kit that Chelsea don. The only difference seems to a couple of tweaks involving the underlying pattern on the shirt.
It features a ‘zig-zag’ pattern in a slightly lighter shade of blue, with the arrows pointing downwards. This is in contrast to the current home kit, which is a plain blue shirt with no such designs.
Another variation is the abandonment of the round-collar neck. Instead of that, the new shirt features a V-neck with navy trim on the collar as well as the sleeves.
The colour of the Nike logo on the right of the shirt is also in yellow colour. There is also a thin yellow stripe seemingly running down the sides, which matches the yellow accent on the outside of the club badge.
The sponsor remains the same and the shorts and socks are yet to be revealed. The shirt itself, of course, is not an official reveal and has supposedly been ‘leaked‘.
If it turns out to be the official kit, the Blues would be hoping that it has a Champions League badge on the sleeve next season. Chelsea have picked up form under new manager Thomas Tuchel since his arrival in January.
We are on an 11-game unbeaten run under the former PSG boss and their top-4 hopes have significantly gone up since then. The Blues sit in 4th spot with 50 points from 28 games.
West Ham United, however, are just two points behind in 5th place, with a game in hand.
