According to the Daily Star, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed what Kai Havertz needs to do to fulfil his potential at the Bridge.
The German manager took over from Frank Lampard earlier this week. Helping the youngster find form was something the former boss struggled to manage as well.

While his numbers aren’t the worst, the German ace has failed to showcase his best on a regular basis. It would appear Tuchel knows exactly how he can do that.
The attacker was chosen in the German’s first game in charge against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Tuchel saw enough of Havertz to suggest he can be a success in the English top flight.
“He needs to be challenged physically – and that it’s not enough to rely on his endless talent.”
While Havertz is certainly a technically gifted player, his physical prowess is not necessarily the best, as far as the English game is concerned. Tuchel believes the youngster should toughen up in order to compete in England.
“For me, the question is can he show his teeth when it gets tough?”
Tuchel believes Havertz’s move from Leverkusen to Chelsea was a big step in his career. Unlike the Bundesliga side, he will be expected to win trophies on a consistent basis at the Bridge.
With him out of his comfort zone, Havertz will need to constantly be on his toes and keep improving. Tuchel believes this will push him to improve and get better.
“He seems to be the guy who needs to be pushed. We will not stop doing it.”
Tuchel has an impressive record when it comes to improving young stars. The likes of Julian Weigl, Christian Pulisic, and Ousmane Dembele all excelled under him at Borussia Dortmund. There is no reason why he cannot work his magic at Chelsea.
