European giants to remain patient in their chase of this impressive Chelsea starlet

Bayern Munich ready to bide their time for Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi

According to Goal (h/t Football.london), Bayern Munich are ready to remain patient in their pursuit of Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The player was a subject of interest from the European champions back in October. Bayern were keen to take on the player on a season-long loan with an option to buy. Chelsea, however, rejected the offer. (h/t The Daily Mail)

The youngster signed a lucrative five-year deal with Chelsea in 2019. With his future at the club secure, the Blues hold all the aces when it comes to any transfer.

Bayern Munich failed to sign Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer

According to the report, Bayern are undaunted after being pegged back and will instead bide their time.

The Bavarian giants will not be making a move for the player in January. However, they have not ruled out a potential return sometime in the future.

Hudson-Odoi is seen as a key target for the Germans, who have been after him for two years now. But Bayern already have a player who is similar to Hudson-Odoi.

Juventus star Douglas Costa is currently on loan at the Allianz Arena and is keen to make the deal permanent. If that happens, it could at the very least make Bayern put off making a move for Hudson-Odoi.

Hudson-Odoi has struggled for game time this season. The youngster has fallen down the pecking order and is currently recovering a hamstring injury.

Despite his struggles, he is held in high regard at Stamford Bridge. Still just 20, there are plenty of years left in him to ensure he goes on to become a key player for us.

It is not the first time that Bayern have looked to English shores for a winger. The Germans signed Leroy Sane from Manchester City in the summer.

Hopefully, Hudson-Odoi will go on to fulfill his potential in the blue of Chelsea in the years to come.
