PSG urged to break the bank for Chelsea star N’Golo Kante
According to The Express, French champions Paris Saint-Germain have been urged to sign Chelsea star N’Golo Kante.
That is the opinion of former PSG star Eric Rabesandratana who believes the club should break the bank to secure the French international.
Having had a lavish summer, Chelsea was expected to let go of a number of stars, including Kante to balance the books. That has however not happened.
The Blues are keen to bring back Declan Rice to Stamford Bridge. This has once again seen Kante be touted as one to free up funds to bring in the West Ham United star.
Such a scenario would work out well for PSG. The French giants came close to European glory last season, losing to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League final.
Rabesandratana believes adding Kante will help the Parisian side go all the way. He believes the 29-year-old midfielder can be the difference-maker in the club taking the next step.
“I would like to say that if I were a leader at PSG I would break the bank to sign N’Golo Kante.”
Kante was the star of the show for France as they defeated Portugal. Rabesandratana believes his qualities would amplify the strengths of Thomas Tuchel’s side.
It was an uncharacteristically quiet window this summer at PSG. Whether the club will make a move for Kante in the future remains to be seen.
