Chelsea striker Timo Werner finally broke his Premier League duck against Southampton.
The 24-year-old initially put the ball in the back of the net but it was ruled out for offside. Undaunted, he went on to score just minutes later, for what was his first Premier League strike for the club.
The German ace grabbed his second before the break as Chelsea went in 2-1 up at half-time.
It was also a day to remember for Kai Havertz as the 21-year-old also scored his first goal in the Premier League.
It looked to have given the Blues all three points, only for the Saints to grab a point in stoppage time.
Hopefully, this is the first of many for our German duo. There is still a long way to go in the season and getting the monkey off their back will help both players play with ease.
