Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga recently backed himself to win back the starting role at the Bridge.
He was afforded an opportunity following Edouard Mendy’s injury but it is fair to see Kepa did himself few favours.
The Spaniard failed to deal with an admittedly bad backpass by Kurt Zouma and what followed was a comical series of events that ended with Southampton scoring.
Kepa could and should have done better. However, to be fair Zouma did him no favours indeed.
For now, Kepa is a sacrificial lamb who is an easy target for our defensive frailties. It is fair to say he has shown little reason for fans or even Frank Lampard to consider him as the number one again.
We take a look at how fans reacted to the player’s latest error.
