Chelsea fans react as Ben Chilwell stars in the win against Crystal Palace
Chelsea bounced back from their midweek defeat in style, thrashing Crystal Palace 4-0 on Saturday evening in the Premier League.
It was a brilliant all-round performance from the Blues. But, one man, in particular, stole the show. Ben Chilwell, making his Premier League debut for Chelsea, put on a scintillating display, taking apart the Eagles.
A marauding presence on the left-flank, Chilwell scored Chelsea’s first goal of the game with a thumping strike. He then went on to assist Kurt Zouma for the second with a peach of a cross.
At the same time, he played his part in Chelsea securing their first clean sheet of the new season. In the process, Chilwell also became just the third player after Deco and Alvaro Morata to score and assist on their PL debut for the club.
