Twitter goes berserk as Chelsea stage incredible comeback vs West Brom
In the end, it proved to a night of comebacks rather than one of collapse for Chelsea.
Looking to bounce back after the loss against Liverpool, Chelsea fans will be forgiven for thinking their side could breeze past the newly promoted Baggies.
The teams might have mixed up the scripts as it was West Brom who went into the break 3-0 up.
The real Chelsea came into life after the break. The academy lads led from the front, while the big money signings failed to light up the Hawthorns.
Mason Mount got us on the board before Callum Hudson-Odoi brought us to within touching distance.
The equalizer came in the dying minutes of stoppage time when Tammy Abraham tapped into an empty net.
While it should rightly be seen as two points dropped rather than one gained, the fightback shows promise.
We next face Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup midweek. It provides the ideal opportunity to right the wrongs of yesterday.
We take a look how fans reacted on Twitter.

After all those signings and yet it’s three academy graduates saving the blushes pic.twitter.com/aQ9FRoxyWv

The point is a good thing after the terrible first half we had. Hopefully the team will realise that talent is not enough so they have to show character to win games.

our standards have dropped so massively as a club we’ve come to the point of celebrating draws against newly promoted teams…

Not good enough but that second half was a massive positive, hopefully we beat Spurs next and then have some momentum in the next few premier league games to kick start our season 🙏

Celebrating it in context that we were 3-0 down and we don’t have a full team yet
