New Chelsea signing Edouard Mendy was pictured taking part in training for the first time.
The 28-year-old penned a five-year deal earlier this week and will compete with Kepa Arrizabalaga and Willy Caballero for the starting spot in goal.
Bringing in a goalkeeper was high on the agenda given the unconvincing nature of Kepa’s performances.
Now that Mendy is at the club, it remains to be seen if Lampard will continue to start Kepa in goal.
Mendy appeared to be taking advice from club legend Petr Cech and was seen mimicking him in action during training. Learning from the master will only help him going forward.
Meanwhile, we take a look at some of the first images of the Senegalese in action.
