“Biggest heist in football”: Some fans react as Chelsea star makes a howler against Liverpool

Fans react to Kepa Arrizabalaga blunder against Liverpool

Kepa Arrizabalaga made a huge blunder as Chelsea lost 2-0 against Premier League champions Liverpool on Sunday.

At a disadvantage already after Andreas Christensen’s sending off late in first-half, the Blues needed every player to be at their best if they were to come out with a positive result.

However, their hopes were dented when Sadio Mane opened the scoring early in the second half. With his team already a goal down, Kepa produced a great howler that ended any hopes of a possible fightback.

Fikayo Tomori, who had come on at half-time, passed the ball back to the Spaniard. His attempt to play a pass to a teammate fell straight to Sadio Mane, who made no mistake from point-blank range to Liverpool two goals ahead.

Kepa has been under the scanner for almost his entire time at Chelsea. And with Edouard Mendy reportedly closing in on a transfer to Stamford Bridge, the Spanish international did himself no favours on Sunday.

Fans were clearly not pleased with his latest error, And they took to social media to vent out their frustrations over Kepa’s performance.
