Images of what appeared to be Chelsea’s third kit for the 2020-21 season have been doing the rounds on Twitter.
It is fair to say that the design does not sit well with the Chelsea faithful. The major reason for this is the fairly predominant shade of Red stretching across it.
Comprising of vertical blue and red stripes on the front, it looks more like a jersey of Merseyside United rather than the best team in London.
The stripes begin as solid stripes at the top of the shirt, just beneath the neck, before merging into a red mass towards the bottom.
Although there has been no official confirmation from the club regarding the design, it is fair to say that the fans have already had their say.
It would not be amiss to think that they do not like it at all. We take a look at some of the reactions below.
