Chelsea figured out their 2020/21 Premier League fixtures in the announcement made by the Premier League today.
The Blues kick-off their campaign with a visit to Brighton & Hove Albion on 14th September. It represents a tricky but manageable first game after that could potentially be a busy summer window.
Frank Lampard’s team returns to Stamford Bridge five days later for their first home game of the season. The clash against Liverpool is a mouth-watering one that could see Timo Werner make his home bow.
With the Reds trumping us twice last season, we now have an early opportunity to lay down the gauntlet. The return leg will be played at Anfield on the 20th of March.
We face off against arch-rivals Arsenal at the Emirates on Boxing day. The return leg will take place on May 12th in what is our penultimate home game of the campaign.
Chelsea faces off against Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham on 28th November at home. The return fixture will be played on 3rd February. We completed the double over them last season and can hopefully repeat it this time around.
The Blues face off against West Ham United at Stamford Bridge on the 19th of December. Conversely we will be travelling to the London Stadium on 24th April.
The first London derby of the season will be against Crystal Palace at home on 3rd October. We consequently face them in the return fixture on 10 April.
Former Chelsea star Scott Parker’s Fulham will welcome us to Craven Cottage of 16 January. The Cottagers will visit the Bridge on 1st May.
The Blues face off against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on 2nd January at the Bridge. We eventually travel to the Etihad on 8th May.
Having snapped his losing streak against Ole Gunnar Solskajer in the FA Cup semifinals, Frank Lampard will next face off against the Norwegian at Old Trafford on 24 October.
The Red Devils will return to Stamford Bridge to play the reverse fixture on 27 February. With a stronger squad at his disposal, Lampard can set the record straight this season.
Leicester City managed by former Chelsea coach Brendan Rodgers established themselves as a formidable outfit last season. We face them at the King Power Stadium on 12 January.
The Foxes are also our last opponents at home this season. The fixture is scheduled for 15th May. It remains to be seen which side in Blue Ben Chilwell chooses to represent.
Former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton side will face off against us at Goodison Park on 12th December. The Italian will return to the Bridge in the return fixture on 6th March.
Apart from Fulham, Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion are the other two teams who gaiend promotion from the Championship.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side will travel to Stamford Bridge on 5 December. We eventually visit Elland Road on 13th March to cap off the return tie.
Given the tension between the Argentine and Lampard during his time at Deby County, it promises to be an intriguing fixture.
Meanwhile Chelsea face West Brom on 26th September at the Hawthorns and on 3rd April at home.

In the aftermath of these matches we face Sheffield United, Tottenham and Leeds at home. Manchester United, Burnley and Everton are the remaining three fixtures, all away.
The congestion of fixures during December is a make or break moment in the season for various teams. Chelsea has been handed a tricky set of games this time around.
We start off the month with games against Leeds, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton. This is followed up with a clash against West Ham on the 19th before facing Arsenal on Boxing Day.
We then face Aston Villa before meeting Manchester City just after New Years day.
