Transfer News: Out-of-favour Chelsea star could be on his way to Italy

Emerson Palmieri could be on his way to Inter Milan

Speaking to FCInterNews (h/t Football.london), Fernando Garcia, the agent of Emerson Palmieri has hinted at his client moving away from Chelsea to Inter Milan.

Signed by Conte in 2018, the Italian has failed to have the desired impact at Chelsea. The Italian is out of favour at the club and has seen his chances limited this season under Frank Lampard.

He has made 52 appearances and has scored one goal and five assists for the club. (h/t Transfermarkt)

A reunion with his former boss could be what he needs to get his career back on track. The same was hinted by Garcia, who called Conte a great coach.

“There is nothing official with Inter, but we are certainly talking about a great club and Conte is a top manager.”

Left-back is a position that Frank Lampard is keen to strengthen. The Blues have been linked with a number of stars such as Nicolas Tagliafico, Alex Telles, and Layvin Kurzawa.

Leicester City star Ben Chilwell appears to be the priority. However, his massive asking price could be an issue. The winds of change are blowing at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea have already started their transfer activity with a bang.

Having already signed Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, it promises to be a bust summer at Chelsea.

Emerson’s time at the Bridge is coming to an end. Hopefully, he can leave after helping us secure a top-four finish.
