Fikayo Tomori and Callum Hudson-Odoi ruled out against Aston Villa

As reported by the Express, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has confirmed that Fikayo Tomori and Callum Hudson-Odoi will miss the Premier League clash against Aston Villa tomorrow.

With just three points separating us from Manchester United, it is imperative that we come away with a win. United play Tottenham hotspur tonight and we hope Jose Mourinho can do us a favour.

Tomori is dealing with a muscle injury. He is expected to be out for 10 days, Lampard confirmed. This will see him miss out on crunch clashes against Manchester City and Leicester City. (h/t Express)

“Fikayo he has an injury which should keep him out for the next 10 days or so.”

Fikayo Tomori to miss three games

The youngster has made a name for himself after being given the opportunity by Lampard.

Hudson-Odoi suffered a minor injury in training that will keep him out of the match. Lampard confirmed that the youngster lacks match fitness but is physically ready. (h/t Express)

“He had a small injury earlier on in the training process and is not match fit, albeit he is physically fit now.”

A crucial miss will be Jorginho. The Italian picked up 10 yellow cards and will be serving the second match of his two-game suspension. (h/t Express)

Although Villa are one of the favorites to go down, they will be fighting for their lives and will give us a good test. It is imperative that we take all three points from the game.

Lampard is brimming with confidence as we go into the game. Chelsea won both of their practice matches against Championship oppositions. The real challenge, however, starts here. (h/t Express)

It remains to be seen if Willian or Pedro will play. The duo have refused to sign an extension that will see them extend their current deals until the season ends. (h/t Express)

They can however play for the club until 30th June. How if at all, Lampard chooses to use them remains to be seen.
