Juventus plotting swap deal to sign Jorginho from Chelsea
According to a report by football.london, Serie A giants Juventus are plotting a swap deal to sign Jorginho from Chelsea in the summer.
The midfielder, who followed Maurizio Sarri from Napoli to Stamford Bridge, has been in good form for us this season. Currently, footballing action has been suspended due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
However, prior to that, Jorginho had successfully established himself as a key member of the squad under Frank Lampard.
Jorginho was instrumental behind Sarri’s many successes at Napoli and when the former manager took charge of Chelsea, he orchestrated a transfer deal that brought the player to the club.
Now, it remains to be seen if he gets tempted to join Juventus to reunite with Sarri. The report adds that Juve are willing to add Miralem Pjanic to sweeten the deal.
The Bosnian international joined the Italian outfit for a fee in the region of €32m. Although he has played on a regular basis this term, it must be noted that his performances haven’t been all promising.
