Samuel Iling-Junior emerges as target for European giants
According to a report by The Metro, Samuel Iling-Junior has emerged as a potential transfer target for Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
The report further states that the player’s youth contract is set to expire soon, meaning any club could sign him for a nominal compensation fee. Chelsea are understood to be keen on offering him fresh terms but the player wants to keep his options open, The Metro adds.
A regular for our U17 and U18 sides, Iling-Junior has shown healthy signs of development so far. In fact, he won the Syrenca Cup in Poland last September alongside fellow England U17 starlets Harvey Elliott and Jude Bellingham.
Under Frank Lampard, there has been a solid emphasis on allowing younger players to take the stage. And his efforts have paid off with the likes of Reece James, Tammy Abraham, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Mason Mount all establishing themselves as forces to reckon with.

Extending his stay with Chelsea would enable him to be next in line but at the same time, it remains to be seen if he takes a leaf out of Jadon Sancho’s book and moves to a different club in Europe.
