According to a report by Football.london, Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia has opened up about completing a transfer deal for Hakim Ziyech.
The midfielder, who will join us in the summer for a fee of £33.5million, has agreed on a five-year contract with the club.
Speaking to Chelsea’s official website about the transfer, Granovskaia said:
“We are delighted Hakim will be joining us in the summer, having been a key target of the club’s in this last window.”
She went on to add that he has been consistently among the most dangerous attacking players in Europe, while also admitting to having witnessed his impact first-hand during Chelsea’s Champions League fixtures against Ajax.
“We wish Hakim and Ajax all the best for the rest of the season and look forward to welcoming him to Stamford Bridge in the summer,” Granovskaia completed.
Ziyech is a force to reckon with and has been an unstoppable force for the Dutch giants. His versatility and attacking prowess would come in handy for Frank Lampard’s young team.
There are absolutely no second thoughts needed since a player like Ziyech would boost our attacking unit considerably.
