Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has cooled his interest in Jadon Sancho after Borussia Dortmund’s demand for an astronomical transfer fee. (h/t Express)
After being priced out of a move, Chelsea will now turn their sights towards other alternatives. Transfer expert Ian McGarry has claimed that the total outlay for Sancho would be in excess of £140million. A transfer fee of £103m for Dortmund and an additional £42.6m for the player’s agent.
Sancho looks to be on his way out of Dortmund, with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United also interested.
Sancho, who moved to Dortmund from Manchester City in 2017, has been a revelation in the Bundesliga. The 19-year-old has scored 12 goals and 11 assists in 24 appearances for the German side this season. (h/t Whoscored)
