Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic will join Chelsea at the end of the season, according to the Bild (h/t Metro).
The report claims the Bundesliga giants have agreed to let the American leave in the summer, as they want to keep him in the winter window.
Liverpool and Arsenal were interested in the 20-year-old, as per the report, however, Chelsea have beaten the pair to the American and have settled on a £45m fee.
The American is one of the hottest properties in the Bundesliga, and this would be a major coup for Maurizio Sarri.
The 20-year-old hasn’t been at his best this season but could find a new lease on life with Sarri at the helm.
Chelsea don’t have enough quality wingers in the team with only Eden Hazard, Pedro and Willian being rotated out wide.
It will be interesting to see what kind of team Sarri can line-up with next season. Hazard and Pulisic running down the wing would be incredible, and we seem to have gotten the American on the cheap.
Spending £45m on a 20-year-old with loads of potential could be one of the smartest moves we have made in recent years, and it all falls on Sarri to extract the best out of Pulisic.
